Ashish quit his international corporate career in Paris to pursue his passion in education and founded XSEED. He personally led the creation of the program from scratch, and continues to be deeply involved in the R&D and learning-teaching aspects. He has an Ed.M from Harvard Graduate School of Education, MBA from XLRI, and previously worked at P&G and Danone. Ashish chairs the XSEED board and is focused on innovation, global expansion, and partnerships. When he can he runs, teaches grade 4 science, and treks in the Himalayas.
Sean co-founded Lighthouse Advisors, investors in XSEED. Previously he was Managing Director at WP Carey in New York. Sean serves on the board of FabIndia and the American School of Bombay, amongst other institutions. He holds a Bachelors of Science summa cum laude in Economics and Finance from The Wharton School at UPenn.
Barbara was the first woman venture capital partner at Warburg Pincus. She now spends her time pursuing not-for-profit activities and serves on the Boards of the Brooklyn Museum, the New York Women’s Foundation, and the Jewish Foundation for the Education of Women; and founded a new charity, ShareGift USA. She is a Chartered Financial Analyst and has an economics degree from Vassar.
Rahul presently leads XSEED’s operations in India. Rahul has helped scale XSEED in the past few years and is focused on building an execution model in India that can be globally replicated. Rahul is a Chartered Accountant and previously worked at GE, Whirlpool, and HT.
Anustup presently leads talent acquisition at XSEED. He has contributed to virtually every aspect of the XSEED story, especially customer acquisition, assessment, and advocacy. Anustup previously worked at Cap One and Braun Consulting in the US. He has an Ed.M from Harvard Graduate School of Education and a Masters in Public Policy from Georgia Tech.
The World Innovation Summit in Education (WISE) featured XSEED among path-breaking global innovations in education as part of Learning Re-Imagined, by Graham Brown-Martin.
The MIT Legatum Center authored a case-study featuring Ashish Rajpal’s journey as an entrepreneur and the founder of XSEED, for use in graduate courses on social entrepreneurship.
