XSEED Education appoints Neetasha Joshi as India Head

Singapore based XSEED Education, creators of the unique XSEED Method of teaching that challenges conventional rote-based education, announced its India head today. Neetasha Joshi, former COO of Café Coffee Day, has joined XSEED as Country Manager and business head for India. This appointment signals XSEED’s continued focus on attracting top talent to drive accelerated growth in India’a high-potential K-12 space.

XSEED is known for its pioneering XSEED Program and the XSEED MAX Digital Program that have challenged the hegemony of traditional publisher business in schools. XSEED reaches 1 million children in eight countries across Asia. Children who have studied in the XSEED system are widely acknowledged as more confident, better at problem solving, and effective communicators in English.

Neetasha joins XSEED following a successful stint at Cafe Coffee Day, where she consolidated the business and delivered higher profitability. Earlier for Royal Sundaram Insurance, she built their agency business from scratch. She has over two decades of rich experience across diverse industries spanning FMCG (Cadbury & Coke), BFSI (Tata AIG), and Retail Operations. Neetasha has an MBA from IIM Calcutta.

Commenting on the appointment, Ashish Rajpal, founder and CEO of XSEED, said “We chose Neetasha as she is an exceptional professional who brings deep experience in scaling businesses across several industries and most importantly embodies passion for our mission to educate young children. She will impact the way we do work – more professionalism, greater eye for detail, stronger systems, and strengthen teams to embody a culture of excellence. I wish her all success in this challenging role.”

Speaking about what attracted her to XSEED, Neetasha Joshi noted, “The ability to impact millions through education is inspirational in itself. XSEED has pioneered it already. I see XSEED as a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity where I can bring in my experience & business skills to scale up the way we teach to impact even more schools and children.”
