Prof. Howard Gardner to address the XSEED Education Conference 2018
XSEED Education will host its annual education conference this year on August 4, 2018 at ITC Gardenia, Bengaluru. Formerly known as the XSEED School of Tomorrow conference in India, it will now be called XSEED Education Conference to align the name with all XSEED countries. We are delighted to share that the noted Harvard psychologist and author, Prof. Howard Gardner has agreed to be our international keynote speaker.
Prof. Howard Gardner is a developmental psychologist at the Harvard Graduate School of Education and one of the most influential educators in the world today. In a career of over 50 years, he has written over a hundred research papers and 30 books. His most popular piece of work is his theory of multiple intelligences, which he elaborates in his book Frames of Mind: The Theory of Multiple Intelligences (1983).
Prof. Howard Gardner had addressed the inaugural XSEED Education Conference in 2009, where he had spoken about his theory of multiple intelligences and its relevance in contemporary learning methodologies. He also undertook a three-week tour across India with XSEED Education in 2012, where he addressed over 3,500 school leaders in over 7 cities. Prof Gardner continues to be an inspiration for Ashish Rajpal, the founder of XSEED education, who studied under the former at the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
The XSEED Education Conference is among India’s largest and most relevant gatherings in education and has, over the past decade, had over 10,000 schools as participants. The conference has been addressed by global thought leaders from the education and business worlds including Tony Wagner, Vinita Bali, Charles Fadel, and Pasi Sahlberg.
