Announcing XSEED School of Tomorrow Conference 2016 ​

XSEED School of Tomorrow Conference will be held on August 6, 2016 (2:30 pm to 6:30 pm) at The Leela Palace, Chennai.

With ​close to ​500 school leaders expected to be in attendance, the conference will feature the well-known international educator and affordable private schools advocate Prof James Tooley (professor of education policy at Newcastle University and the author of The Beautiful Tree), noted international schools leader Andy Homden (former principal of International schools, including the Alice Smith School, Kuala Lumpur & Dubai British School), and education innovator Ashish Rajpal (Founder of XSEED Education).

The theme of the conference is “Quality for all in a time of great change”. Prof. Tooley will share ground-breaking research on innovative practice in affordable private education in India, China, and Africa. Andy Homden will present on the​ importance of analytical thinking in development of creative and thought. Ashish Rajpal will share Annual XSEED Address outlining our learnings in education and share the organization’s ​innovation agenda. Exciting innovations being showcased includes a blended technology-enabled learning & assessment, development of international programs, and improvements in teacher professional development.

School of Tomorrow is India’s largest and most respected school conference. Over four hundred leaders from education and other domains will be attending. It is held annually in multiple cities across the country. In the past, leading thinkers and doers like Howard Gardner, Peter Senge, Pasi Sahlberg, Tony Wagner, Jayprakash Narayan, Vinita Bali, and Gurcharan Das have addressed the conference. Now in its 8th year, the conference has been attended by over 10,000 school leaders and educators.
