Singapore-based disruptive education programme XSEED brings its 100-district India tour to Hyderabad

XSEED’s two-day city visit from October 27-28 to schools, including St. Peter’s High School and Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, will introduce teachers, principals, school owners and parents to its uniquely curated programme designed to empower ‘thinking children’ to become leaders of tomorrow

October 27, 2022 – XSEED, the Singapore-based disruptive education programme aimed at instilling critical thinking and problem-solving skills in young children as part of their school curriculum will be visiting several schools including St. Peter’s High School and Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan in Hyderabad from October 27- 28. The brand is on a 100-district tour across India meeting teachers, principals, school owners and parents to introduce them to the XSEED way of new-age learning that will empower ‘thinking children’ to become future leaders.

XSEED’s unique and comprehensive K-8 academic programme helps schools deliver the curricula of all major boards (including CBSE, ICSE and other boards) via proven research-based teaching methodologies that use interactive resources as well as books. XSEED makes concepts interesting for children, focusses on the thinking aspects, and ensures rigour in practice. The teaching toolkit combines scientific teaching, customised content, and user-friendly technology to provide an all-round and an engaging learning experience from Nursery right up to Class 8.

“For us, this city is very special because Hyderabad is where it all began over a decade ago. The city and Telangana state has always been very advanced and open to deploying new methods, tools and technologies that give its children an edge and make them model world citizens. Kids today live in a fast-paced, tech-driven world that requires them to be armed with a certain set of skills if they want to excel. Curiosity, confidence, the ability to reflect and higher-order thinking skills are among the most crucial qualities that our kids need to master from an early age if they want to do well in the 21st century. The XSEED programme is specifically tailored to fulfill these needs and we are excited to be here and share our vision,” said Ashish Rajpal, founder, XSEED and Harvard alumnus.

XSEED kids have an edge over the others because of the hands-on experience and reflective analysis, modern texts, and application workbooks that focus on problem solving practice rather than on mugging up textbooks. The skill-focused assessment provides personalized feedback to every child.

“We always seek to provide our children with the best possible skills and resources to compete in today’s world. Ever since we introduced the XSEED programme in our school in 2011, we’ve noticed a shift in our kids. They’ve become sharper and results have improved. During a lesson, several questions are being thrown at the teacher because the curiosity of these kids has been unleashed. XSEED kids have an edge over the others which is clearly visible when we see kids interact during inter-school events,” said Alphonse Reddy, secretary and correspondent of St. Peters High School.

Since its launch in 2014, XSEED has served 2 million children in over 220 districts and more than 20 states across India and has been deployed in eight countries including India, Philippines, Singapore, and the Middle East.

As part of its 100-district tour, which began in September 2022, XSEED has already visited 22 districts across India and plans to visit around 80 more by April 2023.
