MAX Reaches 50,000 Children across India

XSEED Education is proud to announce that its digital learning curriculum for schools, MAX, now reaches 50,000 students across in India. The response to MAX has been overwhelming with a major improvement in student performance. It was seen that concept retention and performance of students on tests before a MAX class and after it increased by 84%.

MAX runs a weekly digital learning class in schools for Math and Science, focused on strengthening concepts and communication among students. The curriculum is based on XSEED’s 5-step method and includes 25 of the most critical concepts for each subject. MAX is for students from Grade 1 to Grade 8 and uses storytelling to lay a strong conceptual foundation among students.

“Digital learning is not just about running video lessons in a class that students watch and forget. Real learning in a digital curriculum comes from engaging with concepts and their real-life application through activities, while being guided by visual content. XSEED has always stood strongly against the ‘tell-and-learn’ method of teaching, and MAX is built on the same foundation”, says Ashish Rajpal, founder of XSEED Education.

MAX uses technology to involve parents in the child’s academic progress with the MAX Parent App. The app sends real-time scores to parents after every monthly test that schools conduct as part of the curriculum.

MAX’s success lies in its ease of use. MAX lessons run on the MAX Mini-Campus, a simple plug-and-play device that hosts all content for a school. The mini-campus can be connected to a projector and does not need any other hardware to function. MAX’s technology does not even need an internet connection to work. “A large percentage of India’s students go to schools that do not have the funds to buy expensive technological solutions that exist in the market. There was a dire need for an elegant digital solution that does not depend on the socio-economic environment of a school and works for all”, Ashish adds.
